It’s already been a little over a week since The Olympics readathon I participated in wrapped up. I initially joined in order to have more content for the blog, and I was surprised to find myself enjoying it quite a lot! I’m happy with how much I got done and definitely see myself joining more in the future.

Week 1 Readathon Progress

The first week of The Shelf Space The Olympics Readathon passed by quicker than I would’ve thought! I read two of my prompt picks and one promptless book I had from the library.

The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black|Review

Hey pals! In an effort to put out more content consistently, I’m going back and writing reviews for books I’ve read over the past year or so. Today I’ll be wrapping up the main novels in The Folk of the Air series by Holly Black. I have already reviewed The Cruel Prince and The Wicked King which you can find linked at the bottom of this post! The Wicked King by Holly Black |Review

Back at it again with another book review! This one is a bit dated since I read this back in late 2019, but I decided to start writing reviews on books I read and especially for the series that I started to review for but stopped. This series is slightly controversial (rightfully so, bullying is bad) but I still enjoyed the romance and drama for what it was. It gave “Ella Enchanted but older and more fucked up.” But anyway, onto the review!

2021 1st Quarter Wrap-up

With everything being as topsy-turvy as it is and my own personal life changing, it’s been hard to want to pick up a book, much less come on and update my blog multiple times a week. I definitely did miss talking about books, designing graphics, and figuring out what to talk about on here. Today I’m going to talk a bit about how the past few months have been for me and what I plan to improve with my blog going forward. I will also be doing a wrap-up for the first quarter of 2021. Hi friends, I’m back to participate in Hear Our Voices’ blog tour for Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert. Release day is in 3 days so let’s keep the hype train going! I’m thankful to the HOV team for having me for this great book. I enjoyed reading it and cannot wait to share my thoughts (and attempts at a mood board???? aesthetic???) with y’all!

I’ve read the first two Brown sisters novels of course, but I think this one may be my favorite out of all of them because-Well, I have a whole review to share so let me get into that before I go and give it all away!
